A group of 5 friends (2 women and 3 men, aged from 24 to 56 years old) back then unemployed or underemployed, we decided to become active in the area of social and cooperative economy, by creating a cooperative-participatory scheme based on equal relations and democratic principles.
We created the Social Cooperative Enterprise Agrodiaetus nephohiptamenos and on 28 November 2015 we inaugurated our restaurant Rediviva cucina povera, in Tsinari, one of the most historical quarters of “Ano Poli” the old city of Thessaloniki, a few meters away from the fountain of Murad the 2nd.
Since November 2015, when we started, our restaurant has not gone unnoticed!
Judging by the number of reviews and critiques published in special magazines and webpages, we’ve managed to set our signature in the food map of Thessaloniki.
But above all, what really matters to us is the response of the city’s foodies and especially of those who appreciate the value of simple, natural nutrition ingredients and of those who seek for pure raw materials.
